Kara Krewer
About
Kara Krewer was raised on an orchard in rural Georgia. Her poems have appeared in The Adroit Journal, Best New Poets 2017, Prairie Schooner, West Branch, The Georgia Review, and others. Her chapbook, Born-Again Anything, is out now from Texas Review Press (Texas A&M Consortium).

A former Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University, she's now a PhD student at the University of Georgia, where she's a Presidential Fellow. She holds an MFA from Purdue University, where she was editor-in-chief of Sycamore Review and taught creative writing, composition, and film studies.
She's also been an editorial intern at Fantagraphics Books and a creative writing faculty member at Interlochen Arts Camp. She likes skee-ball and horror movies, and she tweets @kara_krewer.
